Your choice
Nothing is switched on in advance. The toggles show how things stand right now — save any change with the button below them. A choice lasts 12 months, then we ask again.
Where you stand now
You haven't decided yet. Until you do, only the essentials run and nothing is measured.
-
Essential — always on
Without these the site could not be used, so no consent is asked for them and they cannot be switched off. They are sent nowhere and stay on your device.
Cannot be switched off
-
Advertising and reminders elsewhere online
Tools that would let us remind you about tickets or merch away from this site. Without your consent they never start, and we do not track you anywhere.
Nothing to switch on yet: we run no advertising tools on the site. Should that change, we will ask you before we start one.
Not running yet
You haven't saved the change yet — confirm it with the “Save my choice” button.
What is stored on your device
The complete list — there is nothing else.
Essential — always stored
Without these items the site would not work the way you use it, so no consent is asked for them (Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll.). They are sent nowhere and stay on your device.
| Record name | What it is for | How long it lasts | Where it is stored | Who sets it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
erofest-souhlas Your choice from this page | Holds your decision — what you agreed to and what you didn't — so the site doesn't ask again on every page. It contains only the date of your choice, a version number and two yes/no values. Nothing that could identify you. | 12 months | Cookie | This site (erofest.eu) |
__session Admin sign-in | Keeps the organiser signed in to the central admin area at erofest.cz/admin/. It is created only after sign-in and is not shared with erofest.eu or ordinary visitors. | Until sign-out, 12 hours at most | Cookie on erofest.cz | Central admin (erofest.cz) |
Traffic measurement — only with your permission
These two records come into being only once you switch measurement on above. The moment you switch it off or withdraw your choice, the site deletes them.
| Record name | What it is for | How long it lasts | Where it is stored | Who sets it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga Telling devices apart | A random number that lets the report recognise the same device, so one person isn't counted as ten. It holds no name, no e-mail and nothing else about you. | 12 months (we cut this from the two years usual for this service) | Cookie | Google Ireland Limited |
_ga_… The course of a single visit | Keeps one visit together — how many pages you opened in a row and when the visit began. After a while of inactivity it ends and the next one starts fresh. Its name ends with the code of our measurement. | 12 months (we cut this from the two years usual for this service) | Cookie | Google Ireland Limited |
The traffic overview is processed for us by Google Ireland Limited (the Google Analytics service). All we see are aggregates — how many people opened which page, where they came from and on what device. We see no names or e-mail addresses and we approach nobody on that basis. The data may also be processed outside the European Union.
Some browsers shorten that period to a few days on their own. The overview loses accuracy, but it does you no harm whatsoever.
Why it works this way
Traffic measurement
We want to know which pages people enjoy and which they skip, and we shape the site accordingly. But the law is clear: we may measure only after you have given permission. Until you do, not a single request leaves your browser and nothing is stored on your device. Withdraw your permission and measurement stops at once, and whatever it managed to store is deleted.
Admin sign-in
The /admin/ address is the organiser's working tool. The sign-in is held in a cookie created only there — you will never meet it on the public part of the site.
Video and external services
YouTube videos load only after you click play yourself; until then YouTube knows nothing about you. The same goes for ticket sales and social media links — until you tap them, no data goes their way.
Deleting stored data
One click clears your saved choice and anything measurement managed to store from this browser. Next time the site will ask about your choice again.
Delete for certain? The site will then ask about your choice again.
